Band Scramble Information

To assist us with setting up the Band Scramble event, held on the Friday evening, please indicate below your main instrument and any secondary instruments you might be bringing.  If you only play one instrument type NONE in the secondary instrument box.

Also indicate if you are a vocalist and can do lead and/or harmony singing.  If you prefer not to sing check Not A Singer.

Lend a Hand

FAMI runs smoothly largely due to its volunteers.  If you would like to help out please indicate what task(s) you would like to be involved with.  Our Volunteer Coordinator will be in touch.  For more details on tasks download the Task Descriptions.

Acknowledgement of Receipt of your application does not mean you are confirmed to attend camp.  A confirmation email will be sent to you with this information once your registration has been processed.

Cancellation Policy:

• For cancellations received up to 14 days prior to event start there will be a $25.00 administrative fee deducted from the refund.
• For cancellations received 8 - 13 days prior to event start there will be a $50.00 administrative fee deducted from the refund.
• For cancellations received less than 7 days prior to event start there will be No Refund. However, as a special provision, cancellations due to illness will be refunded in full.

Other Rules:

• NO Children under 12 years of age
• NO Guests
• NO Illegal Drugs
• NO Recreational use of Cannabis - see our Cannabis Policy
• NO Smoking or Vaping of Medically prescribed Cannabis - see our Cannabis Policy
• NO Personal Snacks with NUTS
• NO Pets
• NO Smoking except in designated outdoor areas
• NO Unauthorized amplifiers - see our Amplifier Policy

To aid those trying to sleep, late night jamming is restricted to designated sites.

NOTE:  FAMI volunteers may be authorized to film in selected situations, for purposes of creating FAMI promotional materials. Please let us know by email in advance of the event, if you prefer not to be filmed.

NOTE:  By registering for this FAMI event you agree to have your email included in our General Mailing List.
FAMI does not distribute or sell email addresses and only sends out occasional general emails to notify people of upcoming events and news.  You may unsubscribe at any time by sending an email to the FAMI Registrar ([email protected]) with UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject line. Unsubscribing does not apply to communications directly related to FAMI events you have registered for.

By virtue of registering for & attending this camp, I acknowledge and agree that by participating in the Foothills Acoustic Music Institute (FAMI) camp, I am voluntarily assuming all risks related to illness, including exposure to and contracting of COVID-19. I agree that I shall not hold FAMI, its volunteer directors and any persons contracted by the organization, the host camp facility, FAMI registrants and volunteers, or any other persons liable for any damages, loss, risk or injury related to any illness, including exposure to or the contracting of COVID-19.

I am aware that failure to comply with the event’s illness policies and/or other safety protocols and those of the host camp facility, Alberta Health Services, or any other party imparting such rules will result in a warning and/or removal from the event at the discretion of event organizers. Refunds will not be issued if removed from the event for failure to comply with illness safety protocols.

Please do not attend camp if you have symptoms of any illness.
